Exciting news! The two new community centres on GWP have finally transferred to the ownership of the district councils! Council officers who have been working hard on this complex transfer process for a long time now, and since the handover at the end of last year, work has progressed to fit out the centres ready for opening.

The District Community Centre is situated in the middle of the commercial area on Great Western Park and has two large community halls, smaller meeting rooms, a café area and nursery facilities. 

The Southern Centre has a large main hall and two small meeting rooms and has a multi-use games area outside for playing sports. Hayleigh and Sarah have been working with council officers on this and we hope to see the centres open very soon!
